That extra distance is literal. He's driven 100 kilometres into a storm to pull someone out of trouble, and sorted a last-minute recovery for a family calling from Western Australia.
And when a customer broke down in the region with a race car in tow, the race car got a spot in his workshop until their own tow car was back on the road. Customers say the pricing is fair and competitive, too.
